This kit consists of an oscilloscope, microphone, oscillator and amplifier to show sound waveforms such as voices (accompanied by comprehensive set-up notes). There are also tuning forks, a slinky, tin telephones, hosepipe telephones and spy microphones all with accompanying posters and explanations. A large, plastic model ear is also included.
Two large (1m+ diameter) sound dishes are available separately. These show how sound can be focussed at a distance and have separate accompanying posters and explanations. Great for putting up in school halls.
