This is a very comprehensive kit with many different seed types to germinate and grow along with an accompanying book of teachers’ notes. Ten different types of seeds are provided and a whole range of experiments can be carried out, including some for very young children. The seeds germinate within a week and can be seen growing in the supplied tank. Electron micrographs of a variety of seeds are provided so even the very youngest children can see that each type of seed is different.
There is also a collection of AUTUMN FRUITS to illustrate different methods of seed dispersal.
