CARBOSCHOOLS+ (ID: 217751)
FP7, 2008 – 2010
CarboSchools has its origins in two large EU science research projects, CarboEurope and CARBOOCEAN, both of which were studying different aspects of the carbon cycle. CarboSchools encouraged researchers from these communities to engage with schools, and work in partnership to share their research, experiences and knowledge with teachers and pupils. The project included 2 Norfolk schools contributing data to SchoolCO2web The project culminated in a final conference in Jena, Germany with all participants struggling to get home when the ash cloud from the eruption grounded planes across Europe!
